Unique Value Proposition
Healthcare eco-space is rapidly evolving to embrace advancements in personalized medicine and specialized diagnostics, an explosion of data sources, use of AI for patient diagnosis and treatment, real world data evidence, changes in data privacy laws and global regulatory landscape. Our deep expertise in quantitative and regulatory science, drug and combination product development and commercialization brings a unique value proposition to the assessment of the likelihood of the product success in the marketplace and return on investment.
How We Work
During the due diligence process, members of our Expert Panel will work together to identify key strengths and weaknesses of an idea, a product, or a platform and use our understanding of the complexities, precedent and potential of the relevant dimensions of the ecosphere to evaluate the risk of an investment or a co-development opportunity. We also serve as coaches, guides and technical experts to startup founders aiding in the formation of the product development strategies and support their access to funding and entry into the marketplace. Examples of the dimensions we assess and coach on are listed here.
Inspiration For The Name
Occam’s Razor is a problem-solving principle that argues for the benefit of balance in choosing practical explanations for the complex realities of life. The idea of Occam’s Razor is attributed to English Franciscan friar William of Ockham (c. 1287-1347), a scholastic philosopher and theologian. In modern science the principle is best known in mathematics and statistics as guiding to select the simplest model that fits the data, and in medicine, as guiding physicians to first explore the most plausible cause of illnesses. At OccamPoint™, we help you identify key dimensions and build optimal solutions to ensure successful achievement of your business goals.
