Purpose
The Privacy Policy describes the information Occam Point LLC, a California limited liability company (“OccamPoint”) may collect, how it is used, and with whom it is shared. OccamPoint (“us,” we,” or “our,”) operates the www.occampoint.com website (“Website”), including webinars we may host like the OccamPoint Webinar series.
The Information We Collect
Personal Data
This refers to any information that you voluntarily submit to us and that identifies you personally. For example, when you subscribe to our mailing list, submit a post or a comment, or use similar actions through our Website or when you register for any OccamPoint Webinar, you voluntarily supply Personal Data. The Personal Data that we collect and store may include, but is not limited to, your contact information, such as your name and e-mail address, and any professional information you provide such as place of employment and title. It could also include information about you that is available on the internet through Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or publicly available information that we acquire from service providers.

We may collect information on how our Website (including participation in any OccamPoint Webinar) is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). We use your data to respond to you; to permit your participation in an OccamPoint Webinar (if applicable); to provide you with information about our services, relevant information, and events; to consider you for employment or business relationship; to improve our website and our services; and for marketing purposes. To accomplish this, we may share your Personal Data with third parties that perform functions on our behalf (or on behalf of our partners), such as companies or individuals that deliver products or services, participate in our promotions, administer our promotions, administer our Website or OccamPoint Webinar, provide marketing or promotions of OccamPoint Webinar or OccamPoint services, process credit card payments (where applicable), analyze data or provide customer service (but such information will be shared only to the extent they need such information to perform their functions). If you participate in an OccamPoint Webinar, we may also share your Personal Data with speakers and sponsors of such Webinar for internal purposes. While we have taken steps to protect your Personal Data through agreements with such parties, we are not responsible for third party use or misuse of your Personal Data. If you do not want to share your Personal Data in this way, do not use the Website or participate in any OccamPoint Webinar.
Your Personal Data may also be used by us or shared with our parent, subsidiaries and affiliates to provide you with product and service information, and promotional and other offers. You may always request us (by contacting us at info@occampoint.com) to modify, delete or not to share your Personal Data or not to use it to provide you with such information or offers. We may also use your Personal Data as otherwise disclosed at the point where such information is collected or in any additional terms and conditions applicable to the particular feature of our Website, including an OccamPoint Webinar.
We reserve the right to disclose any Personal Data or other non-personally identifiable information if we are required to do so by law or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary in order to: (a) fulfill a government request; (b) conform with the requirements of the law or to comply with legal process served on us; (c) to protect or defend the legal rights or property of OccamPoint, our Website, or our users; or (d) in an emergency to protect the health and safety of our Website’s users or the general public.
How We Protect Your Data
The security of your data is important to us and OccamPoint has put in place security measures reasonably designed to prevent your Personal Data from accidentally being lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. While OccamPoint strives to use commercially reasonable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security and therefore not responsible for the theft, destruction or inadvertent disclosure of your Personal Data.
Data Retention
We retain Personal Data that you provide to us as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your Personal Data, we will delete the information. We will delete this information at an earlier date upon your written request to Info@Occampoint.com.
Transfer of Assets
As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity acquires us or all or substantially all of our assets, Personal Data, non-personally identifiable information, and any other information that we have collected about the users of our Website, including OccamPoint Webinars, will be transferred to such entity as one of the transferred assets. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

Our Website may contain links to other web sites that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by these other web sites. We encourage you to note when you leave our Website and to read the privacy statements of such other web sites before submitting any Personal Data. When you register for and participate in an OccamPoint Webinar, you will be directed to our webinar provider whose separate terms of use and privacy policy may also govern your use and participation in such webinar.
Use of Cookies

We may use cookies to collect information about your browsing activities in order to enhance the performance of our Website and/or your experience in using our Website. OccamPoint does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (“Underage User”) nor does OccamPoint intend for Underage Users to use our Website. Users who are under the age of 18 should not participate in any OccamPoint Webinar. If OccamPoint learns that it has collected or received Personal Data from an Underage User, we will delete that information. If you believe OccamPoint may have any Personal Data from or about an Underage User, please contact us.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be made available by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page with an updated “effective date.” The effective date is identified at the top of the page and the terms of this Privacy Policy are effective as of that date.
